over and the best team won. The headline from "The Arizona Republic"
reads.... "Beavers in a blowout". The Oregonian newspaper reads....
"Oregon State 41, Notre Dame 9 Tradition takes a beating". Quotes
from these papers read like ... "...the most storied program in
the history of college football became Irish stew, taken to the
woodshed by the Oregon State Beavers."
Mondays victory over the
"Fighting Irish" is only the beginning of the next great chapter in Oregon
State football history. The latest AP Poll just came out and our Beavers
are the #4 team in the country, and you could argue that we could be #2.
I think that our team could beat anyone in the country right now.
Now we as fans, who have stood by our school and our team for all these
years, it is time to celebrate and reflect on what is the best season of
football we have ever witnessed.
