Will The Beavers Win a PAC-10 Game?

2-7-2008 - As the 2007-2008 PAC-10 Basketball season slowly comes to a merciful end, will the Beavers Men's Basketball program win a single PAC-10 game? That is the question. In fact, you can go to our blog and vote on that subject between today and next thursday. The results will be posted on the site after the conclusion of the poll.

I think they will get one win this season but no more. This will go down as the worst Men's Basketball season in program history and one we will gladly forget. The basketball program has finally gotten to the point the football program was say 25 years ago when they could not win either.

Last week the Beavers played well against the Ducks in Eugene and were in the game in the final 8 minutes. But once again, a lack of shooting and consistency on the court doomed the team to failure in a 16 point loss to the Ducks.

This week the Beavers travel to the bay area for games against Cal and Stanford. Tonight the Beavers have the Cal Bears in Oakland and Saturday they travel to Stanford across the bay.

Will the Beavers win one of these games? My bet is no they won't. I look for the Beavers to once again lose by 10+ points in each of these games and return to Corvallis 6-17 and 0-11 in conference play.
