2002 Football OSU vs Stanford

BEAVERS COME FROM BEHIND TO DEFEAT STANFORD 31-21

The Beavers looked beaten, they looked down, they looked like they were back in Seattle again. OH!, THE HORROR!

As the Radio guys said, "Sometimes it's darkest just before the dawn". Boy was that ever true. The Beavers came out in the second half and made a statement on their first play from scrimmage going 58 yards in one play for the touchdown.

From that point on it was a beautiful combination of big plays from Derek Anderson and Steven Jackson and some Beaver defense like we have become used to seeing it. The Beavers scored 25 points in the second half and held Stanford to ZERO.

With the win the Beavers inprove to 7-4 on the year on are bowl bound almost for sure. They still need to take care of the Ducks next week but things are looking better. A win over the Ducks asures the Beavers of at least the Las Vegas bowl or even perhaps the in-sight.com bowl in Phoenix.

I will have the complete story on the Stanford game on Sunday.

GO BEAVERS!

FINAL SCORE

BEAVERS 31
